Am I un-American? I'm not excited about his death. I am not angry about it either. I don't like the the guy. I suppose I've just assumed that he would die, so when it was announced, it was not a big deal to me. I think I'm patriotic. I has to laugh at all the different people and countries taking credit for his death, but the question I have is: Will this really stop the hate?
I personally do not think this will stop Americans from hating the Taliban or stop the Taliban from hating Americans. So, in the end, one more person dies in this war of hate and misunderstanding; a failing President gains prestige; A country is happily looking for closure they won't find; and a small ragtag political terrorist movement will undoubtedly seek revenge.
